Lighting design has a utilitarian role: to put enough light on the stage so that the audience can see the actors. But the lighting also helps shape the performance by providing the color and overtones that add meaning and layers and depth. She is the manager of the STC Usability SIG and a member of the board of directors for the Usability Professionals’ Association.
