Andrea is a PhD student at the Syracuse University School of Information Studies. Her current research focuses on information use in organizations.

Andrea earned her MSI from the University of Michigan School of Information; to support her education habit as a master's student, she practiced web analytics for a full-service interactive agency. As an agency data analyst, she interpreted web traffic data for a wide variety of client organizations, including household names in the automotive, entertainment and financial industries. Andrea is also an Associate Instructor for the University of British Columbia's Award of Excellence in Web Analytics certificate program; she wrote the lesson on analytics for navigation for the "Web Analytics for Site Optimization" course.

When not occupied with ambitious projects, Andrea is a habitual knitter and avid photographer.
