Research Interest
As the title of my thesis indicates it, the topics I particularly appreciate deserve marketing, information systems and cognitive psychology, in order to understand the human behaviour facing an interface’s display, particularly ecommerce websites.
I have participated to research conferences dedicated to different areas of interest.
I first went on a colors’conference titled CAM (Color Appearance & Management) Conference, which was oriented to the world of color in all the direction one could imagine (engineery of color, design with color, and industrial work on color). I then went to an academical meeting on color (Iris, Nancy), where I participated with a poster related to my topic for the first time.
I participated to events organized by the AFM (French Association of Marketing) such as the emarketing’s days (each year in September in Nantes, France). I have participated to the “PHD student’s days” organized by the AFM in Nantes. I also presented during events dedicated to the interface’s ergonomy and to the human computer interaction (H2PTM, Paris, France). I appreciate to participate to meetings around cognitive psychology in order to understand the way our brain works, especially the process of memorization. I finally presented a paper in a design’s manifestation (2A, Bordeaux, France), as well as in an Information System’s one (ECIG, Sousse, Tunisia). I try to stay open minded by reaching my topic in different ways.
The topics I particularly appreciate explain for example, using eye tracking studies, what are the main zones consumers look at during their visit on displays. I also appreciate readings on the design of intelligent tools to work with on the Internet, (Web 2.0 tools) in order to learn and interact with customers (Customer Relationship Management orientation), to plan and eventually achieve managerial objectives (Content Management Projects appreciated). These topics also take into account the interface, the new technologies, making computer interactions simpler, and that is what I enjoy to talk about, to read and work on, making by this way my own “Business Intelligence”’s job.
