I’m curious about what people consider best practices for informed consent for user studies. In particular, I’m wondering what practices you use when conducting remote testing or telephone interviews.
Do you consider verbal agreement to be enough? Do you send consent forms and ask for signatures? Does anyone have advice for obtaining electronic signatures for the purpose of consent? Thanks!
