My name is Sung Joo Bae, who is a doctoral student at MIT Sloan School of Management writing the dissertation on the language difference between users and a manufacturer and its implication on the new product development process.
After working several months with Usability Lab at one of the financial services companies, I realized that having a better IA structure has huge implications on many aspects of business-product codevelopment, user innovation, and of course increased sales to say the least.
If I want to find people who are interested in the impact of better IA on the business, who should I talk to? If there is any source that you guys can direct me to, it will be a huge help for my dissertation.
I took Peter Morville’s class while I was in Michigan after I worked on knowledge management consulting, so I am not a total stranger in this field.
